Michael Roth is a business and technical professional with more than 25 years of international experience in network management and control, automation technology and information technology industries who has held executive positions in general management, sales and marketing, business development and project management, in leading multinational corporations in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
As a senior executive, Michael has managed new business startups in Asia Pacific, turning losses into operating profits in short periods of time. He is a results-oriented strategist with a proven track record of excellent performance in managing business operations. A highly skilled negotiator, Michael has successfully concluded and managed the implementation of turnkey infrastructure projects in difficult multinational and multicultural environments.
As a consultant, Michael has provided consultancy, information technology project design and project implementation services for enterprise applications for global business corporations and national government-owned companies.
Michael holds a university degree in solid state physics. He has delivered lectures, led workshops and been keynote speaker at international conferences such as DistribuTech, CIGRE and CEPSI. Michael is fluent in three languages (English, German, French) and has been based in Switzerland for almost twenty years and in Asia for ten years.
